I'm Davidian and I love metal and I also enjoy Final Fantasy XIV. I've put together a few resources for my fellow metalheads! Also, I've included a few places I frequent in NA Data Centers that play actual metal :)

Davidian's Black T-Shirt Mods

It's a band shirt. Hopefully this is the only black t-shirt mod you'll ever need! There are 120+ Metal, Rock, Goth and Punk bands included in each shirt. Each shirt has the same selection of band designs. DM me if you have a band you'd like to have added.

Metal Emotes

All of these probably require some kind of good skeleton. I'm using Illusio Vitae Custom Skeleton without issues. They also all work fine with characters of any gender or size. I love the first headbang emote here! The second emote's animation IS kinda stiff but in a dark venue, it's fine :) The third.. definately seems to fit better with a feminine characer - it looked weird on my highlander.

Metal Venues (and DJs)

Short list of venues that I've observed consistantly playing real metal! All other things being equal, your best chance to randomly see me in the wild is at Factory 54 or Dreadmist Maidens.


Metal Bards

Automagically LEVEL UP any in-game event by booking a metal bard.


  • Aetheric Strays - Punk. Lilly has no patience for sleepy music :)
  • Harmony's Edge - Lots of Metal. Find them weekly at the Coeurl Golden Saucer at the Jumbo Cactpot before the drawing.
  • Melodic Musicial Productions - Delta is the shit! Good selection across many genres, but knows good metal :)
